Be kind to your body!
Postpartum bodies... four years later! 😅
One of my main struggles since having Daisy has been looking back at photos of my body from before. I find myself doing this all the time. It may sound straightforward on paper: eat healthy, go to the gym, and get those steps in!
However, running a business and being a mom consumes most, if not all, of my time! I dislike making excuses, but I often wish there were more hours in the day.
The photo on the left is from a few years ago; it’s the only one I could find that matches the pose in the one on the right!

I recognize that I may be a bit too hard on myself. I had an emergency C-section, and I tend to struggle the most with my lower belly, especially around my scar. It can be quite stubborn. Still, every time I catch a glimpse of my scar, I remind myself that it brought my beautiful girl into this world. For that, I am forever thankful!
What I'm trying to express is that not everyone bounces back to their pre-baby bodies. (If you did, I’m definitely a bit jealous! 🤣) It's crucial to acknowledge that your body is different now; you’ve grown an entire human! I’m not as young as I once was in the photo on the left, and our metabolisms change.
I am eager to become the best version of myself again, but I also recognize the importance of being a little kinder to myself sometimes. If you’re reading this and find yourself in a similar situation, please remember to be kinder to yourself as well!
lots of love Sophie xx
